Handling and Care
How to get the most out of your AtomSmoke E-Cigarette.
Battery Charging
Screw the LED battery into the dedicated charger. (DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN) and connect the charger to the power cord. Plug the cable into a regulated 110V outlet, standard in American homes. The LED on the charger will turn red. IMPORTANT: If the is the first time charging your new AtomSmokes Battery, you MUST leave it on the charge for an entire 8 hours. Even if the LED on the charger turns green, leave it on for the remaining of the specified 8 hours. Now your battery is fully charged, and ready for use. Each additional charge after this should take no longer than 1 hour. The AtomSmoke 510 can ONLY be charges with the AtomSmoke dedicated charger. If your charger is lost or stolen, please contact us via the Contact Us page.
Do Not Over Drip
To extend the life of your AtomSmokes atomizer e-cigarette, it is best not to drip more than 3 or 4 drops at a time. Over dripping can flood the atomizer as well as dry out and congest the heating element in your atomizer. Please see our section on How-To-Drip for the proper procedures.
Atomizer Cleaning
To extend the life of your AtomSmokes atomizer it is recommended to do some scheduled maintenance.
- Every night, or at least a few times a week, remove your atomizer from your battery and cartridge and place it vertically with the flat/hollow side down onto a paper towel and let it drain for 8-12 hours. You should notice a ring of liquid that has drained out of the atomizer.
- You can also flush or soak the atomizer (only) with water or rubbing alcohol. Directly afterward, blow through the battery side a few times to flush out as much of the solution as you can. It is best to dry out the atomizer with a hair dryer to insure that it is completely dry before priming the atomizer again. One or two drops of AtomSmoke liquid dropped directly onto the steelwool looking side of the atomizer will properly prime it for it's next use.
- If you believe that your atomizer is still clogged, you can "reset" the atomizer by attaching the atomizer to the battery without the cartridge and blowing on the LED side of the battery while holding down the power button. DO NOT EXCEED 12 SECONDS or you will fry the atomizer. Wait an hour and reprime the atomizer by dripping a drop or two of liquid onto the steel wool part of the atomizer. If that atomizer is still not working than it's time for a new atomizer.
Atomizer Lifespan
Atomizers typically last 3 months before dieing out. That's why we carry additional atomizers for just $10 each. We suggest that you buy one or two additional atomizers when you buy your kit, just in case you loose one.
